How to Obtain Your Ontario Drivers License

Wheather you've just turned 16, or are simply fed up with your current method of transportation and have finally decided to drive, it's hard to sometimes figure out the best way to go about it.

I found a great infographic which outlines step by step how to obtain your license. I found it on ...this site also has other great tools such as a directory of driving schools, and a lot of free practice tests.

Lo barato sale caro

Oddly enough a large factor in someone's decision on which driving school to attend is the cost of it. Cost over quality is an age old debate. And while one would hope a life skill such as driving would be a thing of quality it is almost always the opposite.

Car Crash Stats:
  • There were nearly 6,420,000 auto accidents in North America in 2005.
  • The financial cost of these crashes is more than $230 Billion dollars.
  • 2.9 million people were injured and 42,636 people killed.
  • About 115 people die every day in vehicle crashes in North America -- one death every 13 minutes.

And with most of us spending on average 4hrs a day 1460hrs a year about a sixth of our life in a car you would hope the driver was taught by a professional.

So why are there so many driving schools out there that charge so little for their time? Its almost unbelievable ---- About a quarter of our business is that of customers whom tried the cheaper guy only to find that time and time again they still did not pass their driving test. Like the latin saying goes "Lo barato sale caro" - which loosely translated means, Whats cheap turns out expensive reigns true in many cases.

Just as a wise man once told me you can go to a general store to buy your shoes and hope they last on your feet, or buy them from a shoemaker and know they are timeless.

Driving is a life skill choose your training wisely.
